Connection Failing suddenly between sources and VA

Hello Expert,

After 4 months of ISC implementation we have noticed the connection between Sources and VA is fails suddenly.

What is the solution when connection randomly fails for like 2 hours? I reboot the VAs.

Some process gets interrupted and creates huge issue.

Any suggestion, how can sudden connection failure be handled.

This is not normal. This may be affected by multiple things, check the VA server, any update on firewall or restriction, check the space and CPU utilization as well.

This is not normal!

If the connections where working as expected for 4 months, then, following could be the issue.

  1. Check with network firewall team whether there are any rule changes
  2. Also, check the connectivity with your sources from VAs using ping and NetStat commands. Capture the results
  3. Observe the VA_AGENT loggers and CCG loggers with any exceptions. If you are getting timeout errors, then, its definitely firewall rule’s issue.
  4. If all 3 pointers are clean, then, connect with SailPoint and check with them.
