Details on this page seem confusing. It’s not clear who is the recipient of this email.

Based on below it seems like the one who reassigns the task is the recipient.

But the body template refers the requester as a third party

Also, while testing I did not see this email triggering.

Hi there, @iamnithesh! I just updated the document based on your feedback: Task Reassignment Email Template - SailPoint Identity Services . The task’s previous owner and new owner are the recipients of the email.

Engineering tested the email, and it is still triggering. Contacting Support may be the best route if this issue persists.
