Manual task re-assignment from source owner to new owner or a governance group

Hello everyone,

When a manual task is generated it automatically assigns source owner as approver. So I’m looking for an API which allows/supports me to change the approver from source owner to a new owner or governance group for manual tasks.

Note: I’m not looking for approval forward API which support only request which have “Approval required” enabled within respective access profiles.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hello Manasa

My background is mostly with IdentityIQ where our approval chain is manager then a secondary approver for select entitlements. Manual tasks are assigned to whoever is the application owner (can be an identity or workgroup) in the application definition once the approvals have been completed. This may be similar to how IdentityNow assigns manual tasks.
