I am working on assignment where we need to assign the manual tasks to Goveranance group instead of source owner.
At present I see that the all tasks are being sent to source owner and also reassignmnet is being happened to only identities and not the governance group.
Is there any possible way where i can assign the tasks to governance group ?

Have you tried to build out a workflow to reassign the task to the governance group?
No, Do you have example where you worked on earlier where we can reassign the task to governance group ?
And also, is it not the general requirement where are all the customers are looking for ?
Unfortunately a manual task cannot be reassign to a governance group, manual task can be assign only into identity.
But an idea is submitted about that need : https://ideas.sailpoint.com/ideas/GOV-I-783
And we hope that in the future Sailpoint will integrated this.
As work arround in our usecase we create a generic identity and associate this identity a shared mailbox, every team member who manage the source can consult this mailbox.
And can connect with this generic identity for reassign task itself before process it. It’s not very a best pratice we use it actually.
