Assign Manual Task to Governance Group

Hi All,

We have a requirement to assign manual task to governance group instead of source owner. We have added governance group for source management, but tasks are not assigning to this group.

Can someone please let us know how can we achieve this?

Provisioning sources that are not direct-connect, source owners will receive notifications in their Task Manager when an account needs to be added, modified, or removed.

By design, Governance groups are used for granting users source role sub-admin level oversight of the source and its access only.

I don’t think there’s any way you can assign the manual provisioning task to a governance group. As a workaround for your use case, you may have source owner, reassign the Tasks to another identity.

In addition to what @sharvari has mentioned, you could also use Forward Work Item API to reassign the tasks to another identity using APIs.
