Hi @Jaffar
The email notification should be sent to new owner. Also try to validate the email ID for the new owner.
If you have followed the document, The email should be triggered if you have used the message contents using the appropriate Velocity variable syntax.
If I remember right the email goes to the one who has reassigned. This seems counterintuitive, but this is what it is
Hi @raghav_chouda ,
This is using the default configuration — I haven’t made any changes to the OOB email template or logic.
I’m triggering the Test Email, and I am receiving it successfully. Based on my observation:
- If there is any syntax issue (Velocity variables, etc.), the email won’t be triggered at all.
- Also, if the subject contains keywords like “stop” or “no_send”, the test email will not be delivered.
Since I am able to receive the test email, it indicates that the template syntax is correct and working as expected.
Thanks!
Yes, in my case, after the task is reassigned from Task Manager, no one is receiving any email notification. Thanks for your response @iamnithesh .
I am still waiting for a response from the SailPoint support team regarding this issue. No email notifications are being received after task reassignment from Task Manager.
Could anyone please help or provide an update?
Thank you!
