New accounts sorting is misleading

Hello.
In our tenant we now have a weird sorting of accounts in the source view. Correlated accounts and uncorrelated accounts are now mixed up and it is impossible to rollback to the old sorting way, correlated accounts first. Does aynone else find this misleadling ? You go to you source, you go to accounts and you see a bunch of uncorrelated accounts, and you think the correlation is not working anymore. Also it was great to have correlated accounts at the top because you were able to immediatly find a “good” account to look at.
I personaly find this decision questionable and it doesn’t seem a good design to me.

Hello,

I checked and it’s the same in our tenant. Is this an actual design change or an error? Was a lot better with uncorrelated/exceptions at the back of the list.

I opened a support ticket and the response is that it is a design change sadly.

I assumed it was a bug and reported it as such since I could not see how this would be considered an improvement over the previous behavior. I agree with you that this design change feels as a step back. An improvement would have been to keep it as it was and instead to facilitate filtering on correlated/uncorrelated accounts. I hope that the feedback will reach the design team. Hopefully they can reply on why they decided to make this change.

Hi all!

See image below,

When going to a source and then clicking on accounts, you could see a list of accounts. By default it used to sorts on accounts by user name of the identity. It would show all uncorrelated accounts at the bottom, so that as developer you could focus on the accounts that were correlated.

Since recent. it now shows the uncorrelated accounts in between the others, making it more uncomfortable to work with this list.

I believe this effect was unintentional?

Kind regards,
Angelo

Hey @angelo_mekenkamp ,

This is a recent design change.

Read this post, this guy opened a support ticket for the same and got confirmation from sailpoint I guess.

Thank you for sharing @703hardik,

I will reply there then to ensure that the conversation occurs in the same place.

@angelo_mekenkamp I’ve merged your recent topic into the existing topic mentioned by @703hardik

This is a huge pain to have correlated and uncorrelated accounts all jumbled together. I hope it is viewed as a bug and resolved.

I can understand mixing correlated and uncorrelated if sorting by account name or account ID, but sorting by username should definitely group uncorrelated together (IMO)
