How to trigger general policies notification manually?

Hi,

I have configured general policy from the “Search → Policies”. I have scheduled it to run daily with some hours of interval, However to test the email template of the notification, I want to run it manually. I couldn’t find any way on the UI to run it to send the notification. There is a API available to run all the policies but that endpoint is deprecated now. I would like to know if there is any way to manually trigger notifications of the policies.

Found V3 api - start-evaluate-sod-policy | SailPoint Developer Community. Which can execute policy and send notification. Looks like new addition to V3 apis.
