Hi,
I’m trying to set up a new source for integrating With Jira Cloud.
Seemed pretty simple with just having to add the email address and token for an account with the specified rights but I’m having a lot of trouble getting the token to work.

Does anyone else have experience of setting up this kind of connection and are aware of some tips and trix for getting the correct kind of token?
Do you know which API calls from the Atlassian REST API that the connector is doing to fetch the users and groups?

We get the following error when testing connection:

Error Received:
[ InvalidConfigurationException ] [ Possible suggestions ] Ensure that the configured Email Address is valid and has Atlassian administrator permissions. [ Error details ] Configured Email Address is either invalid or has insufficient permissions.}

Hello Jenny,

Have you made sure that the email address which you are using is an Atlassian Jira instance administrator account?

Yes it is. The issue was that Atlassian has a lot of different ways of creating a token and giving it the correct permissions. And changes has been made since the guide from Sailpoint was created so it took some time and trial and error to get a working token. But we now have a connection =)
