ServiceNow Integration with ISC

:bangbang: Please be sure you’ve read the docs and API specs before asking for help. Also, please be sure you’ve searched the forum for your answer before you create a new topic.

I am trying to configure the ServiceNow-ISC integration and getting an error. I am getting this error when establishing a connection.

We have detected an error from the managed system.

Error Received:

[servicenow-saas]: [ConnectorError] Empty response received. (requestId: e5712c9cde3040698209a9fd4820c891) (requestId: e5712c9cde3040698209a9fd4820c891)

Any pointers would be helpful.

Can you check if the required roles are assigned to the service account, particularly the x_sapo_iiq_connect.admin role

Hi Maninder,

Could you please let me know which connector are you using to integrate with ServiceNow?

Is test connection successful?

what is the SNOW url you are using in config? and also check proper permissions.

Hello Rakesh,

I am using the below details

Could you help where I can assign the x_sapo_iiq_connect.admin role.

Thank you!

Hello Prashant,

Hello Syed,

I am using the below. Could you help on where to set the permissions.

Thanks,

Hi Maninder,

Could you please check the required permission are assigned to username correctly. Find the link for your reference to check the same : Required Permissions

Above link list out the complete process to assign the required permission

IHTH :slightly_smiling_face:

Thanks Prashant, I was able to provide the permissions. Still I am getting the same error.

I am using a personal Service Now instance and providing admin credentials would that cause any issue.

Thanks!

Hi Maninder,

Now error is different. Issue is with user right somehow user doesn’t have all required privileges due to which it’s unable to connect to end system.

Did you provide scopes at the servicenow end? Also are you able to ping via VA to servicenow?

@maninderkaur1211, there are various other configuration you need to do before the setup. Have you installed the plugin at ServiceNow side. Please check this link in pre requisite and do all the configuration. Once done this should solve your error.
