Self-approval for access requests

Hello everyone,

As stated in the SailPoint documentation: “You can optionally enable automatic approval when the configured reviewer is the requester identity”.

Thus, according to the following SailPoint API call :

set-access-request-config | SailPoint Developer Community

We can activate self-approval when requesting access.

Once activated, I carry out tests based on the reviewers available for a role access and profile access request. I see that self-approval is not respected as stated in the SailPoint documentation

We see some inconsistent behavior and non-compliance with the self-approval rule.

Can you help me to find an answer to this problem?

Welcome to the developer community Thierry. If you feel you have followed the docs and enabled self approval, but you are not able to get self approval to work, then please open a support ticket. This may be a bug or a configuration issue in your environment.
