Searching roles by any content part of the name - Access management

Which IIQ version are you inquiring about?

I’m looking for such solution how to search role in access management by any content as part of role name. currently it is taking only start letter, I would like to configure search on the basis of role name content.

Where exactly I need to make changes in system configuration.

I really appreciate your response.

SailPoint allows searching from the start. We cannot perform a %string% search.

You can update this in Gear > Lifecycle Manager and selecting Enable Full Text Search. This will allow you to search on “contains” type searches.

If you have the automatic refresh interval configured, SailPoint will refresh the full text index on that interval. Otherwise, you can run the Full Text Index Refresh task.

Thank you for your response. I’ve made changes as per your suggestion and run full text refresh task. However, I’m still not able to search content on the basis of role name in access management.

“Full Text Index Refresh” task.

After changing in LCM > conf. I’m able to search in access management for role as per role name.
