Salesforce OOTB OAuth connection keeps timing out

I’ve configured a test connection in our Sandbox environment using the out-of-the-box Salesforce connector with OAuth 2.0 (token-based). The connected app on Salesforce is set up correctly, and the refresh token is configured to remain active unless unused for 30 days.

Initially, the connection worked successfully, and I was able to perform an uncorrelated account test last week. However, I’ve been experiencing intermittent issues where the connection status shows “Not Responding” and times out.

Troubleshooting Steps Taken:

  • Verified no changes have been made on the Salesforce side.

  • Reauthenticated by re-entering the same client ID and secret — this temporarily restored the connection.

  • Attempted another uncorrelated account test, which resulted in errors.

  • Today, I repeated the reauthentication process, and the connection worked briefly but reverted to “Not Responding” shortly after.

Update : Now even after repopulating I am seeing a connection error

Hi @Ztareen29, Could you please let us know if the connector type is SAAS or a VA based ?

This is a VA connection on our Sandbox environment.
