Rule written to re-assign certifications back to manager

We are working with a manager certification scenario where the manager(Kevin Mourgos) has setup a reportee(Donald OConnell) as forwarding user. As per OOTB functionality, the forwarding user does not have access to manually re-assign certifications back to the manager/certification owner. We are trying to schedule a run rule task which can automatically take care of this situation. Through the rule, I have tried setting the manager as the owner of the certification and workitem but it does not seem to be working. Please let me know what I am missing and assitance with the code is greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
Manoj

Hi @ManparTDC,

try to add/change the certifiers of certication object

Hi @ManparTDC,

Have you tried using “Self-certification work item forwarding rule” present in global configuration?

If you need further input, then let us know.

Thanks

Hi @ashutosh08,
Using the “Self-Certification work item forwarding rule” re-assigns all certification items back to the manager, I am trying to assign only the self certification items. Please advise.

Thanks

Hi @enistri_devo ,
Thank you for your suggestion. Unfortunately, setting a different certifier to the certification object is redirecting the entire certification to the new owner. I am trying to set the new owner only to the certification entity where the delegate is the target and allow the delegate to action on certification items for other users who report to the manager.

Thanks

Hi @ManparTDC,

Is it possible for you to share you rule by removing sensitive information?

Thanks

Hi @ashutosh08 ,

The attached file(Rule-ForwardCertification.xml) does not have any sensitive information.
