I am admittedly new to forms - but I was testing one out today thinking that I could just go to somewhere like task manager to see them and open them up, nope! I thought maybe they’d be on the My SailPoint homepage, not there either!
Is there somewhere else one can find the forms assigned to them other than the email with the link that is sent to the form assignee?
In ISC, there isn’t another UI location where users can find forms that have been assigned to them. Only via email link. If you need forms to be discoverable for non admin users, try using a Launcher/Launchpad approach instead of assigning forms via email.
In ISC assigned Forms don’t show up anywhere like Task Manager / My Tasks. Per the official Forms docs, the email link is the assignee’s only access to that form.
If you need “discoverable” forms (users can find them without hunting email), you’ve got a few workaround options:
Use Launchers / Launchpad for end-user discoverability (user clicks a launcher and you kick off the flow) — this is usually the better UX than email-only.
For admins, you can pin forms to the Forms widget on the home page (it’s for creating/viewing/editing/launching forms, not for end-user assigned-form inbox).
For those suggesting the launcher route, do those require the process be initiated by the user who would normally be assigned the form in a workflow?
This is a dynamic process that’s been created and we don’t want to rely on multiple users to initiate the process themselves, which is why we are using the workflow.
If there’s no other way to have UI visibility, that’s fine.
yes, Launchers require the interactive process to be manually initiated by the user from Launchpad.
For workflow-assigned forms, there isn’t currently an “assigned forms” inbox in the UI — per the Forms docs, the email link is the assignee’s only access to that form.
So if the process must be kicked off centrally (not by each user), email + reminders is the only native path today, and your Ideas post is the right place to push for UI visibility.
