Direct Connection with Delimited File Connector

Hey Team!

When reading the documentaton for the delimited file connector (Adding the Source in SailPoint), it clearly states on step 6 that you should be able to chose between “Flat File” and “Direct Connection” as connection type for the source. However, when configuring the source in our tenant there is no option:

To my understanding it has been possible in the past to connect a Delimited File Connector to, for exaple, a File Transfer Protocol. This is something that would be quite neat as our customer has a lot of legacy systems dependant on CSV-exports.

Has this feature been removed from the connector or is it simply a bug? If it has been removed, why so and is there any other way to accomplish the same goal?

Hi Sebastian,

If you haven’t already, can you please submit a support ticket? Either the documentation is out of date and this is no longer possible, or it should be possible and the UI is not supporting it. In either case, support should be able to get to the bottom of this.
