Disconnected Applications Configuration

Hi All,

We are configuring disconnected applications in IdentityNow. Can someone please suggest what is the best option for source type, whether the source type should be ‘Generic’ or ‘Delimited File’. We did ServiceNow catalog integration. i.e if someone requests access for the disconnected application from serviceNow we can see request stautus in IdentityNow.

Also we are performing ServiceDesk integration, i.e if someone requests for these disconnected application a ticket is generated in serviceNow.

Please suggest whether we should go for Delimited File type or Generic.

Thanks in Advance
Mane

Hi @Mane1 generally we see customers use the Delimited File source type. I am attaching the documentation for each source type.

One thing to note for the delimited file:

“The integration supports files separated by a delimiter and supports different filtering options”
