Description
Data Access Security will remove the NetApp 7-Mode configuration option following NetApp’s end of self-support for Data ONTAP 7-Mode as of December 31, 2025. Customers using ONTAP configurations will not be impacted.
NetApp has ended self-support for all Data ONTAP 7-Mode configuration versions. In alignment with this lifecycle change, Data Access Security will no longer support 7-Mode configuration. The NetApp Application Type will continue to support ONTAP versions.

Who is affected?
Customers currently using NetApp Data ONTAP 7-Mode configuration within Data Access Security.
Action Required
Customers using NetApp 7-Mode configuration should plan to transition to supported ONTAP configurations to maintain continued support.
