SailPoint Identity Security Cloud and SailPoint IdentityNow is announcing the deprecation of the Global Apps view, which is the view of the apps included out of the box.
We’ve seen that customers tend to create new apps for their business needs, instead of using the automatically generated entries that are included with the solution. This change will deliver a cleaner, more user friendly visualization of apps within Identity Security Cloud environments. For existing tenants, we will hide the automatically generated OOTB apps that have not been configured with the control type: Admin IT.
Customers will experience no change in functionality, just a change in the way apps are viewed and displayed.
Global Apps view changes are scheduled for November 20th.
