AD Account Creation and Update

Hi All,

I am getting the below error on AD account Sync for the attributes(all this attribute are using in create policy) while creation of AD account i have few attribute to be provisioned to AD. I see only DN,SAMAccountname are updated in the AD after account created . But other attribues are not updated while creation and also not during the sync ?

[“Error(s) reported back from the IQService - Failed to update attributes for identity CN\u003dPrince ,OU\u003dInternal,OU\u003dUsers,OU\u003dParis,OU\u003dFrance,OU\u003dIAM_UO_SANDBOX,OU\u0. The attribute syntax specified to the directory service is invalid.\n”]

Any help is much appreciated !!!

what does your create policy look like? The error suggests the syntax is bad, so maybe it has something to do with how you are forming the attribute string.

We are also facing same issue …Im getting this error when we tried to modify AD attribute Below is the error.

[“Error(s) reported back from the IQService - Failed to update attributes for identity CN\u003dtestfn47\, testln47 (sbs999896),OU\u003dUsers,OU\u003dLFH,OU\u003dHospitals,OU\u003dSB-Departments,DC\u003dbassett,DC\u003dorg. The server is unwilling to process the request.\n”]

You are likely to get that error when the value you are attempting to set on AD field is mismatch with data type on AD schema
