Workday Accounts connector Integartion in Sailpoint

Hi Everyone,

While Integrating workday accounts connector in sailpoint IdentityNow we found like it’s only able to pull the user-based security groups and the organizational roles from the workday.

We need a solution to aggregate other types of groups that are part of workday into sailpoint like example role-based security groups etc

can we add custom XPath in the schema of the workday accounts connector and fetch the details of other types of groups?

I’m not positive how it is in IdentityNow, but the workday accounts connector for IdentityIQ does not allow you to customize the XPath. We are using the workday accounts connector for the user-based security groups only. We are pulling most of our information on the regular workday connector where we can customize the XPath.

Hi Michael,

Is it possible to pull role based security groups using Workday connector in IIQ? I tried to see if we can get xpath in getWorker webserive but didn’t find any information.

Hi Vasu,

For IIQ there are 2 different connectors for WorkDay. There is the Workday Connector and also the Workday Accounts connector. We are using the Workday connector to pull most worker data, but we are using the Workday Accounts connector to pull in the User Based Security Groups into IIQ. Note that there are specific permissions listed in the connector guides that have to be given to the IIQ account used to connect to Workday for both connectors.
