When there's no button for that: AI-assisted development with ISC APIs

Description

Identity programs constantly encounter requirements outside the platform’s native capabilities — conditional provisioning from external systems, cross-application data orchestration, peer-based access cloning, and complex lifecycle events that don’t map to standard workflows. The answer usually lives somewhere in ISC’s API surface, but navigating hundreds of endpoints and producing working code takes time and expertise many teams don’t have. This session demonstrates a practical approach to AI-assisted ISC development — from describing a business problem in plain English to working, tested code — using real customer scenarios. Attendees will see what makes AI-assisted API development work well (and what doesn’t), how to set up AI tools with ISC API knowledge so they produce reliable results, and how integration patterns reduce the overhead for common use cases. The session includes a starter kit with API context setup, integration pattern templates, and sample code that attendees can apply to their own environments.
