VA CCG Version "Not Available"

Hi

I have created a VA cluster for my client. There is no source connected to the VA, as of now. But i see the VA CCG Version as “Not available”. Is this expected?
My VA cluster is healthy, but CCG version doesn’t show up.

Arshdeep

Hi Arshdeep,

You can try GET /beta/managed-clusters API from postman to see if ccgVersion is included in the response

You can also try restart ccg service on VAs and wait to see if the ccg Version gets updated on IDN.

Thanks,
Shailee

Hi @arshdeep_thapar ,

Once try with rebooting the VA using command sudo reboot or restart the VA directly from UI.

Also, try restarting ccg service on VA as @shaileeM said.

But generally, it would take sometime once connected with the tenant, like after VA updates done (updates still in progress).

Please take a look at the below link for reference.

Thanks!!

Hi @shaileeM
Thanks for your response.

I checked the version from API call, I got this value:
“ccgVersion”: “1749_1008_233.0.0”

Even after 2 days, its not running. I will have to ask the client team to restart the CCG service as i don’t have the access.

What is the dependence on the CCG in this case?

Hi @arshdeep_thapar , is it possible to reboot the VAs?

@shaileeM, I will wait for few hours. As now the CCG version for one of the VAs is showing up as 1008, and the other one is still “not available”.

Glad to hear that. Did you restart the CCGs?

@shaileeM just the cluster restart from ISC. I can try restarting CCG on the VA, where its still showing unavailable.

Okay, its worth a try.

Hey Arshdeep,

Usually the CCG version only shows when you add the VA into a Source and make some test connection.

Good to see this. Anyways, restarting CCG will be a goodway or also you can also try restarting the VA directly.

Thanks!!
