This is the companion discussion topic for the documentation at https://documentation.sailpoint.com/saas/help/common/emails/et_user_pw_changed.html

Can you add details to this to confirm which email IdentityAttribute this emailTemplate gets sent to? Is it ā€œemailā€ or ā€œpersonalEmailā€? We are seeing instances where it looks like it is going to ā€œpersonalEmailā€ instead of ā€œemailā€, but the documentation I have been able to find so far states it should be using the ā€œemailā€ identityAttribute.

Hey @gmilunich! I have created a ticket for this and have already contacted the PM to try to get an answer. The PM is currently out sick, but I will get this info updated asap.
Thanks so much!

Hi @gmilunich !
I finally have an answer for you
According to one of our engineers, it is sent to ā€˜emailā€™. So, the docs are correct as is.
He went on to say that if it is being sent to ā€˜personalEmailā€™, that an Engineering ticket will be created so the team can look into this.

I hope this helps!

ok, I will check with my coworker to verify. He was seeing it get sent to the userā€™s personalEmail field. If that is the case, would you open the Engineering ticket?

Hi @gmilunich! Weā€™ll absolutely open an engineering ticket for you if your coworker confirms the behavior.
