We currently upgraded iiq to the 8.4p1 version, but don’t want to activate Access History. It is disabled automatically if it’s an upgrade which is our case but i was wondering do i need to do other actions for this module to disable it completely and for it to not to affect the performance of the product ?
Thank you for the reply. I was wondering if leaving it deactivated still impacted performances because i noticed that tasks take too much time when we upgraded to the 8.4p1 we were on 8.1 version i don’t know if the two matters are related though. Did anybody notice performances changes on Tasks due to upgrade and access history?
Hi @torry_salamat - We have not seen any issues with performance when upgrading to 8.4 with Access History disabled. As with any upgrade, make sure to go back through your standard performance tuning to make sure nothing was reset or overwritten.
You also want to make sure your task and request threads are tuned and check your application definitions against the newer ones to see if any entry keys have been added.
