Unlock identity

This might be a rookie question, but how to unlock an identity in ISC?

I dont see any attribute on the identity

Can you unlock without resetting password?

If your account gets locked due to reaching the maximum number of failed login attempts, you’ll see an option on the login screen to unlock your account.

Additionally, if any identity on the tenant is locked out, you—acting as an Admin or Help Desk Admin—can assist by resetting their password. This action will trigger an email to the user with a link to reset their password.

If you go to the Landing page of IdentityNow → Problem Signin In → Unlock Account. You will see that option no matter you Identity is locked or unlocked. Did you try the below option and still facing issues ?

The answer is ‘no’. You cant unlock an identity without resetting the password.

No need to reset the password. When the account is locked after multiple failed attempts, the user gets an email subject - “Your SailPoint account has been locked” with a link:
https://tenantname.identitynow.com/passwordreset/default/unlock-account
Clicking this link initiates the unlock process:

  • Step 1: Enter the username
  • Step 2: Choose method for verification code.
  • After entering the code, you’ll see a confirmation message: “Success! Your account has been unlocked.”

You can also do this from the login page by clicking ‘Problem Signing In?’> ‘Unlock Account’

If the user has forgotten their password, they can instead use the Password Reset option from the same page.

Do you know if it is possible to do all this via API, without email to user?

I checked all the API collections, but there’s no option to unlock an identity using API
