Sending report to an email which is not associated with any identities

Hi,

We use IIQ 8.4 P1.
Can we send the report to the email address which is not associated with any identities. We need to send the report to a DL. Can that be done without creating identities. Please advise.

Hi @ramthetribo, Yes, you can send it by creating a workgroup. Please follow the steps below:

  1. Create a workgroup and give it the desired name.
  2. Set your distribution list (DL) in the group email field. (You can provide multiple addresses separated by commas.)
  3. Choose the notification setting “Notify group email only.”
  4. Do not add any users.
  5. Save the workgroup.
  6. Use or select(UI) this workgroup in the report.

Yes you can do it. One way is what @SivaLankapalli suggested, however you need to create workgroup for that. Else, you can create standalone rule where you can hardcode “to” address.
