Hi,

Can we add Dynamic and static recipient in Email being send from Workflow Send Email Action? Also can we use cc recipient?

Hi @Manju22,

Yes, you can set dynamic and static recipients in “Send Email” action. Total of 10 recipients can be added in one “Send Email” action.

Currently, you can’t add cc/bcc to an email action.

However to set dynamic and static email together, UI would not be a feasible option and you would have to download the workflow script, write the emails under recipientEmailList and upload the script back to IdentityNow.

@colin_mckibben, I believe this can be reported as UI bug in workflow.

The send email action allows you to either specify a list of static email addresses or point to a single variable that contains an array of email addresses. You can’t mix static and dynamic addresses in the UI. This isn’t considered a bug, it’s just not a supported feature at this time. The feature is being tracked internally with ticket # PLTWRKFLW-1208.

I just tested this using the above mentioned method and it is working as expected.

Thanks for testing Animesh. I corrected my reply to say that it isn’t possible in the UI, but your method is an alternative to getting this to work until it is supported in the UI.
