We are working with the SAP HR/HCM connector in our IdentityNow Sandbox environment and have successfully configured a source named “SAP_SOURCE”.
We’ve reviewed the official documentation: Account Attributes
So far, we’ve had no issues aggregating standard attributes listed in the documentation. For example, we successfully added and populated the following attributes in the Account Schema:
- STAT2_Current
- STAT2_Next
- STAT2_Next_Start_Date
However, we now need to include custom attributes that are not part of the default list, such as: - Transfer Date
- Start of Absence (e.g., beginning of a long-term leave like maternity)
We tried adding these attributes manually to the Account Schema using their technical names, but although the aggregation does not fail, the attributes remain unpopulated, even though the data is present in the SAP HR/HCM target system.
We would appreciate guidance on the following:
- What are the correct steps to add and map custom SAP attributes in IdentityNow to the account schema and to read it and to have it correctly populated after aggregation?
- Are there specific configurations required on the SAP side (e.g., exposing additional infotypes or fields)?
Any help or examples from similar use cases would be greatly appreciated.
