Restricting Logiplex Apps Visibility on Manage Password Page

Hi All.

We are trying to restrict Logiplex applications from appearing on the Manage Password page while keeping only the main application visible. Weare using IIQ8.4

Scenario:

  • Our main application is “Active Directory”.
  • Logiplex applications are generated with the naming convention:
    • Logiplx-AppName01
    • Logiplx-AppName02
    • Logiplx-AppName03, etc.
  • We want to hide all Logiplex-prefixed applications from the Manage Password page and display only the main application.

Attempted Approach:

We tried removing the featureString for Logiplex applications, but it appears that they still inherit settings from the main application, making them visible.

Request:

Could you suggest the correct approach to ensure that Logiplex applications remain hidden while retaining visibility for the main application?

What is your feature string currently? I have mine set to featuresString=“COMPOSITE, DISCOVER_SCHEMA” for my logical application based on AD groups and I don’t see this application for Manage Passwords

We removed the “PASSWORD, CURRENT_PASSWORD” from the featuresString in Logiplex child apps, but some how its inheriting that from Main application.
