Hi all,
Is there any way to display only specific Application Account for the user under Manage Accounts.
I want to show only 2 application account that is AD and PAM. AD and PAM accounts are displayed, but also other target applications for that user, are displayed as well. How can I hide them.
Go to: Lifecycle Manager → Configure and scroll down.
Make sure you have only those apps selected here which you want to display and All Applications option should be UnChecked -
I think these options would provide user 1) to request for accounts (without any role) - support account only request 2) to request for additional accounts.
But would not restrict user to view the accounts that they can manage in my opinion.
I don’t think we can control the applications that are visible under Manage Accounts section.
But, what can be done is applying scoping. That ensures only users who has access to manage these applications can perform the action under Manage accounts, for others they would get an error that they cannot manage the identity. It may not fully serve the purpose of visibility, but can provide the control of what user can perform.
