Request Items not generated when provisioning Engine reason is "Expansion"

  • The user already has an existing account in target application(SubApp).When additional access is requested for the same account,the request appears in the provisioning Engine with the reason “Expansion”.

  • Although the provisioning transaction shows as successfull,no request Item is generated.The Request Items section under Access Request is blank, and no actual provisioning occurs.

  1. After approval of an access request in SailPoint IIQ , the request appears under Provisioning Engine with reason shown as “Expansion” instead of “Requested”. Can you please clarify why this reason is displayed?
  2. Request Item is not getting generated is this because the reason in Provisioning Engine is “Expansion”?

When additional access is requested, was it requested on an entitlement of parent application of the sub-application?
