Hi Team,

We have requirement where on department change of user, SailPoint shall launch targeted user certification. We have required configuration in rapid set up of mover.
We can see on department change, mover event is triggered on identity however the certification is not launched.
Any pointers to troubleshoot this issue?

Thanks,
Reshma

I would suggest you enable the workflow trace, check if you are seeing the isMoverCertificationEnabled as true and seeing the workflow step, Launch Certification getting called or not and troubleshoot accordingly.

Hi Reshma,

Did you configure the Rapid Setup Mover (Gear → Global Settings → Rapid Setup Configuration → Mover) in a way like this :

If you are using Birthright Roles (Misc-Role Types to Treat as Rapid Setup Birthright Roles), please enable ‘Include Birthright Roles’ as well.

We stepped away from the Rapid Setup Mover Certification and went back to the ‘Certification Events’ (Setup → Certifications → Certification Events).

Thank you for the response.

Yes, we are using RapidSetup Mover - Targeted User Certification. Is it like if we do not have ‘Include Birthrigh Roles’ then SailPoint will not launch the certifications for any other user access?

It should trigger for all other roles (when ‘Include Birthright Roles’ is not selected).

After the Mover Workflow is started, please wait minimal 5 minutes and run the ‘Perform Maintenance’-task with the option ‘Process background workflow events’ enabled. The Rapid Setup Mover workflow might include some wait time.

There is a default setting to wait 5 seconds for the certification to be created, if there is a lot to process (lot’s of access), this setting should be increased.

I hope this helps
