I am using the “contributor search” option attribute with “Allow multiple selections” set to No. In the approval form, I have selected this attribute under “Selected Contributor.” It works as expected in the create workflow. However, in the update workflow, it sends notifications to both the previous contributor and the current selected contributor. We only want the notification to be sent to the currently selected approver.
Are you able to share a screen print of you step in workflow? You should be able to define who is notified in the email step.
