New Capability: RPA SaaS Connector with UiPath for Disconnected Applications

Description

SailPoint now supports the Robotic Process Automation (RPA) SaaS connector, which provides connectivity through RPA platforms for systems that lack direct methods for account and access management β€” such as those without modern APIs or with limited integration capabilities. Initially, the RPA connector supports UiPath as the RPA platform.

In general, Robotic Process Automation platforms are used to automate identity lifecycle management for:

  • Legacy mainframe systems
  • Applications with web-only interfaces
  • Homegrown business applications
  • Vendor systems without API support
  • On-premise applications requiring UI automation

The SailPoint RPA connector provides the capability to connect to the RPA platform, where you can seamlessly manage and govern the last mile applications.

High-Level Capabilities

  • Account and Entitlement Aggregation
    • API Based Aggregation
    • File-based data collection or upload
  • Account Provisioning
    • Create Account
    • Update Account
    • Delete Account
    • Enable/Disable Account
    • Add/Remove Entitlement

Documentation

The product docs say it’s possible to integrate with automation anywhere as well as UIPath but I don’t see that in the tool itself. Is that a near future enhancement?

Nevermind, I see it now.
