UIPath Connector

Hello,

Is there a connector available for UIPath and SailPoint? If no, what would be the best way to connect UIPath and SailPoint?

Thanks,

Lakshmi.

Hi Lakshmi,

There is no out-of-the-box connector for UIPath

You can integrate this application using a WebServices connector Integrating SailPoint with Web Services

They just announced an RPA connector that is supposed to work with UiPath

ETA: OP is looking to provision users, so this wouldn’t apply

I’m going to assuming OP is asking for user provisioning into UIPath…(as opposed to “via” UIPath to some other app).

In that case, your instance isn’t integrated with, say, Entra ID?

That’s right, I am asking for user provisioning into UIPath. We use PING as IDP.

Hello Everyone,

Thanks for this discussion. The previous announcement that you referred is for the last mile disconnected applications that you have configured through UiPath path. If you are already using UiPath, you can use the recently released RPA Connector and manage those end applications through SailPoint.

I appreciate the ask for having a UiPath governance connector. Here is a good news, there will be one in near future, which will support the robot accounts (machine account type).

However, for the aggregation and provisioning of normal user, based on our analysis, there is no such available ways and APIs which can be used to achieve this operation. So, even you can’t use the Web Services connector. I would suggest to raise an enhancement request with UiPath so that there will be API for getting other users who are present in UiPath and can be provisioned to UiPath.

Thanks!

Then naturally, wouldn’t you be provisioning Ping users (or wherever that user repo is federated from)?

We recently did this by provisioning to IDP groups (not PING) which then used these group memberships for provisioning to UIPath. You may want to look into this as an option. ref: Google Search
