New Capability: Integration Service (IQService-Feb-2025) is now LIVE!

Description

:bangbang: SailPoint is excited to announce that IQService-Feb-2025 is now available in the Identity Security Cloud!

This release includes following latest features, enhancements and bug fixes:

  • IQService:
    • Update Service now registers correct Service name in Windows event logs.
  • Microsoft Active Directory Connector:
    • The Active Directory connector is now more resilient in handling the bulk user creation using group Managed Service Account (gMSA) when configured as service account in the application.
  • Microsoft SharePoint Server Connector:
    • The SharePoint server connector now aggregates correct group membership for an account even when a similar group with same name exists in two different sites collections.

Action Required

If you’ve already configured the UpdateService (which is healthy), IQService should receive automatic updates in your environment. If not, you can manually upgrade to the September 2024 release.

NOTE: This auto update is only applicable for 64-bit IQServices. Updates to 32-bit IQService deployments, which is used by only HCL Domino Source, require manual updates.

Additional Resources

  • For more information, refer to Update IQService on how to update IQService and also configure UpdateService required for auto updates.
  • Refer to the IQService documentation for any other Information.

Is there any documentation on the current cluster version? The idea would be to have a documented page from SailPoint on what the current version is to confirm that the auto-update feature from the IQservice servers have updated to the current version.
I’m looking specifically at our IdentityNow cloud portal at:
Admin > Connections - Virtual Appliance Clusters (our current version in Sandbox is 1044

So is that the Feb-2025 release mentioned above?

Hi @ajtardio, IQService is not available on UI (as of now). You can check the version of IQService directly in the IQService component. For more detail on how to check the version and to know the command, refer to IQService Commands. Thanks!

You’re conflating two different things. Feb-2025 is the IQService version, what you’re showing in your screenshot is the Virtual Appliance CCG version. IQService is a service that runs on a Windows server, the VA CCG version refers to the version of the Cloud Connectivity Gateway package running on the Linux Virtual Appliances.
