New Capability: Data Access Security - Identity Enriched Forensics

:new_button: New Capability

New identity column in data-classification forensics (Data Access Security)

:sparkles: Description

By embedding this enriched identity context into data-classification forensics, we provide users with a single, unified view of “who has access to what,” enabling faster investigations, clearer reporting, and more actionable insights.

:red_exclamation_mark: Problem

Today, our data governance product provides visibility into files, permissions, and data classifications but lacks enriched identity context from the main identity governance platform. As a result, users cannot easily link accounts to their associated identities or distinguish between human, machine, and agent identities within forensics and reporting. This gap limits customers’ ability to perform accurate investigations, generate meaningful reports, and take confident governance actions

:light_bulb: Solution

Now when using the data-classification forensics screen in Data-Access-Security, users can view data classification results for chosen applications and resource, filter by the identity and get a meaningful and deeper context between the “what” (data) and “who” (identity).

:busts_in_silhouette: Who is affected?

All DAS users

Production rollout: March 1st, 2026
Milestones / phases (if any): Identity type will be added in later phases this year to indicate user/service account/AI Agent, etc.
