Monitor Queue Itens meaning

Hello Everyone,

I had a high scale on itens in monitor, and want to know the meaning of each item that appear on Monitor, like QPOC, WPS, MENTOS, etc..

Someone has or know the meaning of this names and which activity runs on each item?

You can take a look at this API. I don’t think it includes everything, but it helps to get an idea of what the task does.

It’s a documentation / knowledge / clarity gap at the moment.

QPOC seems to run during aggregations and identity refreshes.

QPOC Runs a lot and prevents identity profile updates

When I look at active tasks under “Dashboard” → “Monitor”, I notice that QPOC and QPOC - HIGH are running more than 50% of the time. This makes it difficult to put in identity profile updates as any running QPOC task does not allow you to update identity profiles. What is the cause of QPOC and QPOC - HIGH running so consistently? Have others experienced this same issue?

We had the same questions and reached out to support. We were told there is no documentation on this but upon further pressuring we were able to get the following:

QPOC - Queue items (usually aggregations)
WPS - Short for Something Provisioning Services (usually from role/APs/entitlement provisioning or deprovisioning regardless if they are from changes to Identities or changes to the role to resource mapping or dynamic role configuration)
MENTOS - Scheduled Identity refresh

Its not great info but its the best we were able to get so I hope its at least a little helpful.

I always assumed that Mentos, being the fresh maker, would be related to some kind of refresh task…
