How do we access the Queues displayed in Admin → Dashboard → Monitor → Active Queues. The Queue count for Entitlement-Correlation has not gone down for about a few weeks , not sure what is being queued and how to get more information on it , any help here is appreciated , thank you .
Hi Sunny , thanks for reaching out , I did go through that post , but it doesn’t specify , what those specific queues entitle , and we do not have the permissions to view this -
These are background tasks, and only an internal team has access to monitor these queues. There used to be a CC API to monitor them, but its details were limited and it’s now deprecated. You can check this endpoint: get-task-status-list | SailPoint Developer Community, but it won’t provide too many details.
In regard to your question “what those specific queues entitle”?
We had the same questions and reached out to support. We were told there is no documentation on this but upon further pressuring we were able to get the following:
QPOC - Queue items (usually aggregations)
WPS - Short for Something Provisioning Services (usually from role/APs/entitlement provisioning or deprovisioning regardless of if they are from changes to Identities or changes to the role to resource mapping or dynamic role configuration)
MENTOS - Scheduled Identity refresh
I know it’s not great info (And specifically doesn’t address what you are seeing with the Entitlement-Correlation queue) but it’s the best we were able to get so I hope it’s at least a little helpful to you or others.
Thanks much Eric, appreciate the info , if they’re not able to provide much info on it , the page shouldn’t be displayed to the users and kept visible only to the Sailpoint internal team , since it’s available , just curious on what it’s used for and the background process involved .
I completely agree with you. That was the point we tried to make as well when we asked and were told there was no other documentation on those entries in the queue. We were also told that they have heard the same from many customers and that they were “looking” at changes to make it more useful. This was about a year ago now though and there have been no changes to that yet. Fingers crossed
