IDN Virtual Appliance - Unable to resolve DNS issue inside VA

Hi Everyone,

I’m facing a DNS resolution issue inside my IdentityNow Virtual Appliance (VA).

When I run:

ping corp.local

I get:

ping: corp.local: Temporary failure in name resolution

But when I ping the AD server directly by IP (for example ping 192.168.159.129), it works fine.

Can someone please guide me:

  • How to properly configure DNS or host entries for .local AD domains like corp.local in the Virtual Appliance?

Hi,

Welcome to Sailpoint portal. Please go through the below url. You need to configure hosts.yaml file and place it in the Virtual Appliance. Once done you need to restart the ccg server. Please go through the same and let us know if you still face the same issue
