We need to add internal DNS resolvers to our SailPoint ISC Virtual Appliance.
The problem is that the static.network file does not exist. It seems that the VA does have an static IP address, which I also found in a file named ip.list.
I’m concerned that if I create the static.network file, I might break the entire network configuration.
Is there another way to add DNS resolvers ? Or do I need to create the file and set the Address as the one we already have et add a gateway and the DNS ?
In case you aren’t able to see static.network file. Feel free to create a one and assign the DNS accordingly.
Virtual NIC names are dynamically assigned upon initial VA creation, so you will need to perform this step for each VA to enter the correct name into your static.network file in the steps that follow.
