Thank you for your reply. I am actually doing the standard local installation on a Vsphere VM do you have any idea how to check why the Ipv4 is not showing ?
Hi @torry_salamat The VA uses networkd for network config.
Hi @j_place Thank you for your reply i tried to do a sudo systemctl restart systemd-networkd but it’s not working for me it says i dont have the permissions
A restart should do it.
Are you using a static IP? Did you go through Deploying Virtual Appliances - SailPoint Identity Services?
I was actually trying to do as the deployment link says but when doing the ifconfig command to find the IP of the VA so that i can add it to the static.network file i couldn’t find the ipv4 but only ipv6 adress
Are you saying you cant find the interface name from ip addr
?
You will need the IP address as provided by your network team
