Identities from two different Identity profile shouldn't be visible to each other

Dear ISC members

Greetings for the day.

I have a new requirement for ISC. We have 2 different authoritative source.

  1. Workday
  2. NERM

Reuirement: NERM identites should be visible to specific group of people who manage NERM identities only. They must not see Workday identities in ISC.

Please help me if you can suggest me the best way to achive this.

Thank you in advance.

Hi @mananbhavsar7

There is no out-of-the-box option available in ISC to restrict visibility of identities based on authoritative source.

What you may be looking for is data segmentation for identities. Currently only Roles and Entitlements are supported.

This is right! Identity Segmentation is something we’ve been working on for some time and continue to work on. What’s being described in this thread (Segmentation based on source) should be a use case fairly easily covered so long as there is an identity attribute that is also connected to that source. For example, an employee type identity attribute “Contractor” for NERM and “Employee” for Workday.

As you can imagine, there’s many, many places identities/users are exposed compared to other objects, so identity segmentation takes a bit longer for us to build.
