How to configure the JML process in SailPoint IIQ

Please provide the JML configuration setup for SailPoint project

Hi Madhava,

Welcome to the SailPoint Developer Community. Your initial post is a bit sparse and doesn’t give much context. Can you share more about what you’re trying to do, what IIQ version you are on, and any additional context that might help someone in the community to help you?

For starters, I would say

Access Setup → Lifecycle Events

You find OOTB JML configurations there, you can use them and customize them as per your requirements.

Thanks

Hello Madhava, Welcome to SailPoint Developer Community!

You can go through this community link to understand the whole Lifecycle Manager module of IIQ

you get some understanding of what are these events in SailPoint IIQ. Once you go through that you can try the steps which Krish has mentioned and let us know if you face any issues.

Can you elaborate a bit on what you want to accomplice?

It might also be an option to start with Rapid Setup, see the 8.2 IIQ Rapid Setup guide

Hi @MADHAVREDDY ,

I would recommend you to go through the SailPoint University trainings and explore the lifecycle events.
So JML process are setup through by creating events through “Setup → Lifecycle events”. Lifecycle events are tied with 1) Event type(eg. Create, Attribute Change, Rule etc. ) 2) Business Process (workflows).

I am attaching a compass article which has a sample Joiner workflow https://community.sailpoint.com/t5/Technical-White-Papers/Birthright-Provisioning/ta-p/78513 . Kindly go through the link and try to start with Create event type. Happy Learning  . Good Luck

Hello @MADHAVREDDY

You can use the Rapid Setup to kick start, else you need to configure events for JML and configure what action SailPoint needs to perform when any of these event is trigerred. You can write a workflow/rule to do all your calculations.
