Enter basic configuration information for the HTTP operation.

In the Operation Name field, enter a unique name for the operation that you want to execute. You can change the name of an operation later if needed.

A note should be added to the documentaiton for the Operation Name that lets the user know that changing the name of the operation will break and child relationships that may have the operation as a parent.

WebService Direct Connector: Renaming a Parent Endpoint causes the Child Endpoint to no longer be linked

What problem are you observing? If you have 2 or more linked endpoints, WS1 → WS2 → WS3, and you rename the parent endpoint WS1 to WSEP01, the parent relationship in WS2 is broken and no longer works. Looking at the API, it appears that the name is the linking attribute for these, and the rename is not propagated. What is the correct behavior?
