We have limited number of event triggers currently and none of them are related to certification revocations or certification decision/completion? Can we expect event triggers for certification related activities soon?
What would be best approach to trigger external web service call when the reviewer revokes the access with the current set of functionalities we have in IDN?
The SailPoint team is actually working on creating a few different certification events that we are hoping to release in the next couple months (of course this could change if we run into unforeseen challenges).
The events we’re going to release are:
Certification Campaign Generated
This event is triggered when a certification campaign is generated and is ready for activation
Certification Campaign Activated
This event is triggered when a cert campaign has been activated (moves from preview to active status)
Certification Sign-Off Event
This event is triggered when a certification is signed-off and moves to End status.
Not to be confused with campaign end / expiration.
Certification Campaign Ends / Expires
This event is triggered when a certification campaign moves from Active to End status.
To your specific use case, we don’t have any events planned for release in the short term that focus on individual decisions. Right now the focus is on whole cert/campaign events. We’ll keep in mind your ask though as we move forward with the Event Trigger Roadmap.
@daniel.labarre
Hi Daniel, do any certification event triggers reflect if access revocation has been assigned a sunset date? Or is there any way to turn off the sunset date capability for UARs?
@mario_rod , there are event triggers for campaign activated, campaign generated, campaign ended, and certification signed off. I have an action item on my end to document them in the list of available event triggers. You should see these in your trigger subscription list in IDN.
