“Could not find class: sailpoint.object.HistoricalAccountCapture” I receive this error when I try to run the task to export the xml objects in IIQ. This error only started popping up after we upgraded IIQ8.3 to 8.4.
I have the 4.2 version of the plugin at the moment so it should be compatible with IIQ8.4.

Hi @Yaseenl

The HistoricalAccountCapture object is related to the new Access History feature in IIQ 8.4. It’s possible the plugin needs to be updated to account for changes in how this data is accessed or structured in 8.4.

The most probable solution is to completely uninstall and then reinstall the “Export XML Objects” plugin, ensuring you download the absolute latest version specifically designed for IdentityIQ 8.4.

Clear IdentityIQ Caches:

  • After reinstalling the plugin, clear your IdentityIQ caches. This ensures that IdentityIQ loads the newly installed plugin and its dependencies correctly.
  • You can usually do this by restarting your IdentityIQ application server(s) or by using the “Clear Cache” option in the IdentityIQ console

Check for Database Upgrade Issues:

If you had any errors during the 8.3 to 8.4 database upgrade, review them. Ensure all upgrade scripts ran successfully. (This is a more general troubleshooting step if the plugin reinstall doesn’t work).

If you’ve done this and still face the issue, it’s best to raise a support ticket with SailPoint directly, as they can provide specific guidance on plugin compatibility with their latest releases.

Hi @Yaseenl - During the upgrade it probably lost the jar file. Removing and re importing the exporter plugin should do the trick. Did you use the SSB to deploy?

In IIQ 8.4 version, there are some jars discontinued. You have to validate the jar also.
