Entra ID and Long Aggregation Time when Exchange Online Enabled

This is related to a previous closed post: Exchange Online feature causing long aggregation times

I am seeing the long aggregation times when Exchange Online is enabled in the Entra ID SaaS connector and ShareMailbox is added to the Account Schema (as an Entitlement). Aggregation goes from 15 mins to 7+ Hours.

From the logs, the increase can be seen to be caused by the connector first importing ALL Shared Mailboxes using the Get-EXOMailbox powershell command.

Is there any way to limit what the Entra Connector imports when importing shared mailboxes? Or is there any way to increase the speed of import of all shared mailboxes?

I have already separated the ‘Exchange Online’ Entra Source from the regular Entra Source so it can continue to operate unencumbered by the Exchange Online Aggregating time.
