In out environment we normally email the credentials for a new joiner to their manager by using the Joiner Workflow
Is there a more secure way to do the same using IdentityIQ?

That is the standard workflow correct, whenever the account creation finished for new user, a notification email is sent to the manager with user account name and password.
I think if you want to do it a secure way, what i can suggest is, send the account details in one email and password in another, not together.
If you don’t want sailpoint iiq to sent the new user notification to the manager, then you need to search for other email tools, which can send the email in a more secure way.
In the Joiner workflow, once the identity is created, keep two steps. One for sending email to manager and the user that identity has been created and in the second step, send the password of the identity to the individual user’s personal email. In this way, password will be shared tot he individual owner only.
Hi @rishavghoshacc , as suggested above , you can send separate email for password .
But there are several third party password delivery mechanism available as well which can be used , depends on your organization .
